These Terms of Service (“Terms”, “Agreement”) govern your use of our website (https://lokalfolk.com.au) and the purchase of products from Lokal Folk (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing or using our site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.

1. General Information

Lokal Folk is an Australian-owned brand operating from Bali and Australia.
We create reversible, sustainable kidswear and sell directly through our website.
All prices on our website are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

2. Orders and Payments

By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of payment.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock issues.

Payments are securely processed via Shopify Payments, PayPal, or other approved payment gateways.
We do not store credit card details and your payment information is encrypted.

3. Shipping and Delivery

We ship within Australia and internationally.
Delivery times may vary depending on location and shipping provider.
You’ll receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

Please ensure your shipping details are correct — we cannot take responsibility for items delivered to the wrong address due to customer error.

We do not store credit card details and your payment information is encrypted.

4. Care Labels

Our children’s garments are fully reversible, so we rely on clause 2.5 of the Consumer Goods (Care Labelling) Information Standard 2023, which adopts AS/NZS 1957:1998 with variations. Under clause 2.5, reversible garments are one of the ‘made-up goods’ that are exempt from the requirement for a permanent care label.
Where a permanent label is not provided, the standard allows care instructions to be supplied on a removable ticket or label, on a pamphlet accompanying the goods, or as printed instructions on the wrapper or packaging. We comply with this by providing clear, English-language care instructions on an insert inside the packaging for each reversible garment, and also on our website.
