Jess and Nate have lived and breathed the retail world — running their boutique on the Sunshine Coast for over 7 years, complete with their own in-house kids label.
Jess is the creative brain and fashion dreamer; Nate’s the numbers guy who brings the laid-back surfer energy to her chaos (and keeps the spreadsheets in line).
After years in retail, craving a new adventure, they sold up shop. In true lead-with-their-heart style (and zero overthinking), they sold everything, packed up their two kids, and swapped the daily grind for island life in Bali.
That shift changed everything.
Lokal Folk was born from that moment — a brand built to do things differently.
They created the kids’ clothes they’ve always needed as on-the-go parents.
