Nope. This is probably the biggest misconception.

Every Lokal Folk piece is intentionally designed to have two completely wearable sides. That means:

No ugly inside seams
No scratchy care labels
Functional pockets on both sides
Working buttons and drawstrings
Thoughtfully designed colours and prints

It's two outfits in one, not an outfit with a secret inside.

This is another question we get all the time. The short answer? No.

The long answer... We spent months choosing fabrics that worked together. Every fabric combination is carefully selected so the finished garment is only around 20% heavier than a standard item.

For example, our reversible T-shirts feel similar in weight to many premium heavyweight tees already on the market.

They're soft. They're breathable. And they're designed to be worn all day—not just when it's cold.

Exactly the same as any other cotton garment.

Wash. Dry. Wear. Flip. Repeat.

We carefully choose fabrics that wash well together and share the same care instructions, so there's nothing special you need to do.

The only difference? Instead of washing two outfits... you're washing one. (Your future laundry pile says thank you.)

The only thing to note is that because there are two layers of fabric, they may take a little longer to dry than a standard garment.

Hopefully. That was actually the whole point.

We didn't start Lokal Folk because the world needed more kids' clothing. We started it because we thought families deserved clothing that worked a little harder.
