Care Labels

Our children’s garments are fully reversible, so we rely on clause 2.5 of the Consumer Goods (Care Labelling) Information Standard 2023, which adopts AS/NZS 1957:1998 with variations. Under clause 2.5, reversible garments are one of the ‘made-up goods’ that are exempt from the requirement for a permanent care label.

Where a permanent label is not provided, the standard allows care instructions to be supplied on a removable ticket or label, on a pamphlet accompanying the goods, or as printed instructions on the wrapper or packaging. We comply with this by providing clear, English-language care instructions on an insert inside the packaging for each reversible garment, and also on our website.”
